Sixteen people were displaced after a three -alarm fire crossed a house by Jamaica Plain from several units during a cold on Saturday night, Boston Fire reported.
Around 11:15 pm on Saturday night, Boston Fire responded to a fire in a large four -story apartments building in Boylston St. in Jamaica Plain.
In the scene, the fire spread on “multiple floors and the roof,” said Boston Fire. A second and third alarm “immediately” was ordered. The video of the scene shows flames shooting out the ceiling while the smoke joins. Temperatures immersed themselves in Boston adolescence on Saturday night.

Sixteen residents of the building were displaced, said Boston Fire, and the Red Cross is helping with the house. The fire made approximately $ 1 million, declared the department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Boston Fire Investigation Unit, the department declared.
