Patriots are holding Senior Ben Mcadoo offensive assistant for the 2025 season, according to ESPN.
Mcadoo is a rare remnant of the era of Jerod Mayo to Mike Vrababel’s new coaching staff. He joined the organization last year on a multifaceted role, which included helping with the development of Drake Maye. It is not clear what the title of Mcadoo will be next season under the offensive coordinator returned Josh McDaniels.
Mcadoo is a former NFL chief coach and offensive coordinator who was out of football before reaching New England. He worked for three different teams in the previous three seasons, going from the Jaguars field marshal coach in 2020 to a consultant for the cowboys in 2021 and the offensive coordinator of the Panthers in 2022. And ended with his shot in 2017.
Previously, Mcadoo served as an offensive coordinator in New York and field marshal coach and wings closed in Green Bay. It has no previous experience with McDaniels.
The 47 -year -old becomes the third coach to stay in New England under Vrababel, following special team coaches Jeremy Springer and Tom Quinn.
