With Bringin, it is now easier than ever living with a Bitcoin standard in Europe.

The web application (and the mobile application that will soon be released) allows users to almost instantly convert bitcoin of a base chain or a lightning wallet to a virtual visa debit card that can be used wherever the visa is accepted.

The founder of Bringin, Prashanth Chandrashekar, conceptualized the product after fighting to turn his bitcoin into euros.

“Two years ago, while living in Estonia, I used to pay in Bitcoin, and took me almost four days to settle the bitcoin and take the euros to Revolution to spend,” Chandrashekar told Bitcoin magazine.

(Author’s note: When Chandrashekar uses the term “liquidated”, it refers to Bitcoin convert into Fiat).

“That is why I wanted to create a tool that allows users to liquidate Bitcoin. I think that Bitcoin liquidate instantly and to use Bitcoin is one of the key factors to obtain the value of Bitcoin in the world today, ”he added.

What Chandrashekar and his team have built is comparable to a service like Bitrefill, although more dynamic, and has more capabilities.

How it works to bring

Bringin operates in all countries that use the euro, and allows users to make bitcoin a ray wallet in euros in less than a minute. (Transactions in the chain take more, approximately 10 minutes, since they must be confirmed in the block chain).

For most things efficiently in Bitcoin in euros, users simply pay a ray bill called in the amount of euros they want on their virtual debit card and those euros are available to spend shortly after.

In the back-end, the process looks like this: it brings problems from each of its users a virtual Iban (international bank account number). This number is used to interact with the SEPA system, which allows users of the euro zone to make euro payments without effective.

Using instant credit transfers SEPA, which allow transfers of up to 15,000 euros in less than 10 seconds, together with the payments of the rays, users can turn their bitcoin into euros in almost no time.

Chandrashekar illustrated how fast all this takes place in a recent X post:

However, users must go through the KYC process to use the service, bring fund users funds, which means that bringing users can choose to wear bitcoin wallets or custody rays.

“You can use your hub alby and liquidate directly on the debit card using Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC),” Chandrashekar explained. “We have created a more direct link between its Autocustody wallet and its bank account.”

The way to bring

Chandrashekar began to develop Bringin in September 2022 (although it was not incorporated until March 2023).

Before working in this product, he was used by the now missing Lastbit, which aimed to solve a similar problem.

“We were building consumer -oriented requests for Europe,” said Chandrashekar. “The application allowed users to buy Bitcoin instantly, make and receive ray payments, and we also send a Mastercard debit card that could be financed with ray transactions.”

However, Chandrashekar shared that the project was discarded due to a series of difficulties.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t climb the service,” he said. “We arrived too early and there were many compliance obstacles.”

Not wanting to give up the creation of a product like Lastbit, Chandrashekar moved to Estonia with some members of the Lastbit team, obtained the appropriate licenses and began building Bringin.

“Last Bitb rotated from building an application for the consumer to being more an infrastructure company, providing tools links so that other companies are built on top,” Chandrashekar explained.

Then, at that time, I was still working with the company and helping them with the infrastructure, but I felt the need to build a consumption product that allowed people to do what Letbit initially aimed to achieve, “he added.

“Then, I left and started my own company to help consumers and other bitcoinists who had a problem like mine.”

A third generation exchange

Train not only serves as a Bitcoin ramp, but also as an entrance ramp.

“Users can use ray addresses to buy Bitcoin,” Chandrashekar explained. “Today, you can bring, enter” 10 euros “,” PRASHANT@alby.com “,” Send funds “and the SATs appear in your center of Albe”.

(Users can connect with any wallet that NWC admits. Trains also allows transfers with the Blink wallet, and intends to expand their integrations, according to Chandrashekar).

Because Bringin can facilitate this type of perfect transactions between non -custodial wallets and traditional bank and payment rails, Chandrashekar conceptualizes Bringin as an “third generation” exchange.

“There have been several generations of exchanges,” he began.

“Originally, we saw all kinds of exchanges where you make a limit order, consult the order book and make a purchase. That became a mobile wallet like Venmo, which is custody, where you change instantly for Bitcoin. That was the second generation of exchanges, ”he added.

“Bringin is a third generation exchange, because it is not a custody solution in which you put funds and then change it and the bitcoin remains in the custody of the exchange. It allows not only instant exchange, but also responsible for the movement of funds from the banking system to bitcoin and rays networks. “

Routemap

In the future, Chandrashekar plans to rationalize Bringin’s operations while expanding the services offered by the platform.

Currently, Bringin works with a partner business to issue and manage debit cards, but Chandrashekar would like to change that.

“At this time, we are a distributor and technology supplier, and we do not have a direct association with visa, so we white the debit cards of our partner,” said Chandrashekar. “But we eventually want to obtain our direct association with visa.”

Chandrashekar also hopes to incorporate more merchants, since the company already makes it easier for companies to begin to use Bringin.

“We have integrations with BTCPay Server and Opago Pay,” said Chandrashekar. “Merchants can receive Bitcoin payments and instantly convert a part or all payment in euros through a Bein Iran account.”

And Chandrashekar is working to associate with Bringin with a loan and loan platform from Bitcoin.

“The intention here is that users can provide Bitcoin as a guarantee and receive loans in euros,” he explained, adding that most loans and loans from Bitcoin only offer loans in US dollars or stable of US dollars.

Beyond these plans, Chandrashekar is still motivated to continue improving Bringin ramp technology.

“You need to take bitcoin to your favorite wallet, and there is a lot of friction there,” he said. “Our intention is to bring everyone to Bitcoin by allowing users to put Bitcoin directly in the wallet of their choice without friction, directly from the bank.”
