Matthew McConaughey’s mother, Kay McConaughey, is sharing her secrets to stay young.
During a recent interview with Austin Lifestyle, Kay commented on how he could remain young at age 93.
“I really have a positive attitude and as well,” Kay explained. “As clean. I exercise. I do pilates for an hour, four days a week, and that keeps me fit. But the most important thing for me is not to get stressed.”
“As, if you and I were very good friends and, and you were talking to me, and you had a situation, I would listen to you and give you advice and if you did not take it, then that is all, I would not stress me for that,” he shared.
Kay continued explaining that many “women think they always have to fix everything”, but that is not a belief that is subscribed.

Kay also pointed out that he is willing to help his friends and family when necessary, but that “he will not be stressed to fix everything.” This approach to life is something that the actor’s mother has always had, explaining that she has always managed to get out of stressful situations, even in her youth.
“I don’t let myself get it, believe me, I don’t do it,” Kay said. “If I see that that’s where I go, I went back. I’m not going to let people do that. , never “.

Later in the interview, Kay, who is known affectionately “Mamac” by Matthew and his wife Camila Alves, gave an idea of his family life with his son and daughter -in -law. Kay shared that “he loved (s) the Cole de Camila salad. And salmon”, and only eats red meat when he is at home.
When asked which of his son’s films is his favorite, he revealed that he is “Dallas Buyer’s Club.”
“He did a great job, really and truly,” Kay said. “That made me cry.”
